College expenses:

This will probably be my last post for the evening.

10 Months of Room: $2,632
10 Months of Food: $3,357
Total Room and Board for 10 Months: $5,989(probably plus tax?)

This doesn’t include the summer, which is another $800 plus whatever it costs to eat, as they don’t have meal plans for summer, I think?

And then there are the luxuries, which is why I’ll be applying to as many jobs as possible there too. (which reminds me that I need to apply for work-study this spring, at least)

Gas: Around $2,000/year
Personal Money: $1,200/year, for $100 a month in spending money (Too Much?)
Cell: $600/year, on a $50/month plan
Food: $700/Summer? Only applies if I stay there, which I hope I can.

Total for everything: $10,500/year

This is to stay there all year round (minus the days where they aren’t open), eat all year, have gas, have a good phone, an have personal money for once

I might be able to cut into some of this depending how much money I get from Grants/Scholarships, which is cool. But I’ll still need a job when I get up there.

I would need to get a job that pays $8(that seems like a given in the city?), work at least 32 hours/week, and work all year round. that doesn’t sound too bad? Most of this semester was sent on tumblr, and I slept like, 12 hours a day. Sooo~ do-able?
