Summer Job/neccessities
Ugh, so the whole “get a pre-summer job” failed spectacularly. I don’t want to drink bleach at all!!! /sarcasm
Anyway, My grandmother is getting me the paperwork to apply, and also a suit for the interview, and dress shoes too maybe. Instead of a resume I will be sending in a letter of intent? It is basically the same thing, only for the jobless. She seems to be very excited about it.
I will be getting a 3.6 for this semester barring another opportunity for extra credit. Or, I hope that I will be getting that, fingers crossed.
I also need to fill out the paperwork for this scholarship through my moms company. (Dad doesn’t have a company atm, sooo)(damn, he should have stayed at his work last month, lol, get me some of that moneys)
Oh, and I will only be getting $1,600 from financial aid :/
And that does not even reflect the fact that right now my parents are not making as much as they were. That is another way that my dad quitting screws me over, as the government expects us to make more than we are, but we aren’t.
Hopefully this is reflected next year, but with my luck dad will get a new job and everything will be screwed up again.( lol @ hoping he stays out of work so I can suck on that sweet government dick)
And I need to check on Phi Theta Kappa for next year, as they give out $1,000-$2,000 per semester I think! That’s pretty sweet too.
